![]() It doesn’t let any signal pass the threshold. The limiter is exactly what you’d expect from a limiter. The limiter exhibits no saturation beyond what would be expected from a dynamics processor. You can see the fixed 200ms stage in both, with the top having a very fast hump showing the second stage and the middle having a smooth transition from the first stage. In the images above the top is a 1ms release time and the middle is 225ms. The first stage is a fixed ~200ms, followed by the second stage which is close to the labelled value. The limiter appears to have a 2 stage release. The release is variable with the default labelled value as 15ms at 12 o’clock. With an input of -18dbFS, the signal was reduced to a peak of -20dbFS. The limiter has a fixed ratio and attack. Let’s just dive in and go through what the Mixbus 32c mixer offers. Each channel has a selection of features that optionally can be sent to a mixbus with a number of features that goes to a master bus with a number of features which can optionally go through a monitoring section with a number of features. The mixer in mixbus is not your typical digital summing box. I don’t think that this is necessarily the best use of Mixbus, since it’s a fantastic full-fledged DAW in its own right, however it is one of the best aspects of Mixbus. ![]() I'm happy that we can support UAD's VST format again, because VST is generally preferred over AudioUnit if you might need to share the session to a windows user someday.Mixbus is often seen as a program that, after doing all of your work in another DAW, you drop in stems and mix with. But I think most people will find this new version is a drastic improvement for both AU and VST's. This is something we are unlikely to fix largely because VST(2) is no longer recommended or supported by Steinberg. There are still a few cases of UAD plugins, in the VST format, where the bottom menu bar is obscured and does not display. You can register&receive your new software links at our "Downloads" page: ![]() I've uploaded a new version of Mixbus and Mixbus32C to our 'store'. This allowed us to search for related changes in the prior Mixbus release, infer what was happening, and then resolve the problem for both formats in Mixbus. ![]() I downloaded and can verify all my UAD plugins now work everyone!Īfter several years of enduring this problem, we recently found a clue where some of the AU plugins started exhibiting the same problem as the VST versions. I am happy to report that Ben from Harrison Consoles just uploaded a fix!! 32C Version 7.0.150. Any help or troubleshooting guidance would be greatly appreciated! There are several UAD-specific plugins exhibiting this issue. The plugin also works correctly with Logic (au) and ProTools 2021 (aax). So being that it works in v6 but not v7 my guess is some issue in Mixbus and it’s not with UAD. When I launch Mixbus 32C v6 and open the exact same session file, the plugin displays completely correctly. Now I should make it clear I own the plugin and it is authorized correctly through UAD. When I load, for example, the Lexicon 480L plugin into a channel or bus of v7 I get a stretched screen showing what I’m guessing is the GUI for the demo authorization of the plugin. Hello everyone! Looking for some help regarding a graphic issue for select UAD plugins with Mixbus 32C v7. ![]()
